The Strongest Sermon

"But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre," (John 20:11)

A cyclist who wants to ride to the top of a bridge, rides fast before he reaches the ascent so that he gains such a momentum as will take him to the top.  Weep when you must weep.

There must be deep sorrow for our shallow spiritual life.  There must be no sorrow for missing worldly things.  God wants to make use of every one of us.  Let the Holy Spirit God develop every phase of your character so that Satan can attack from no side.

Some are weak in their talk, some in their dress, some in their palate, some in their temper, some in their thoughts.  The devil attacks them in those things.  Let us find out our weaknesses and set them right.  Why should we not be an example in all things.  An unerring life is the strongest sermon that keeps ringing in people's ears, which they cannot resist.  "Be ye perfect, even as your Father in Heaven is perfect."

We must seek for a greater manifestation of the beauty of Christian character in ourselves.  God wants us to be an example in all things.

Let us perfect ourselves in our Christian life.  It is good to weep for sin - for things that are preventing you from being an ANGEL.
